Why I Started Tyme Real Estate: A Personal Story

My journey in real estate began well before I ever stepped into the industry professionally. I started investing in property back in 1997, and what began as a personal interest quickly grew into something far greater. By 2003, I realized real estate was more than just a financial decision — it was about people, their stories, and the life-changing transitions that come with buying or selling a home.

That year, I made the decision to earn my real estate license. But it wasn’t just about selling homes I wanted to build genuine relationships, to listen, to guide, and to truly understand what people needed during one of the biggest moments of their lives. Over the years, I stepped in and out of the industry. Life took its turns, but my passion for investing and more importantly, helping others, never faded. In fact, it only grew stronger. And so, nearly 18 years later, I decided it was time to do something different. I launched Tyme Real Estate. Why? Because as both a homeowner and investor, I was often left feeling disappointed by the service I received. I noticed that many agents were focused more on chasing commissions than truly listening to their clients. I believed there had to be a better way — an agency that’s driven by care, honesty, and results, not just numbers.
